• Sam Bankman Fried to remain in jail for the duration of his trial after judge denies request for release.

• Do Kwon, founder of failed stablecoin project TerraUSD $UST; asks US court to deny the SEC's extradition request for questioning. Do Kwon's lawyers cite that he is detained indefinitely in Montenegro and that it would be "impossible" to bring Kwon to the US.

• SEC delays decision on Blackrock, Bitwise, Invesco Galaxy Digital, and Valkyrie Spot Bitcoin ETF's. The deadline for a decision was October 16th-19th, but the SEC cited the impending US government shutdown as the reason for the delay.

• Circle, the stablecoin issuer of $USDC an $EURC; intervenes in Binance's SEC and argues stablecoins are not securities. Circle cites that users do not expect any profit from stablecoins nor does SEC have jurisdiction over stablecoins since stablecoins lack the essential features of an investment contract.

• Binance loses support from banking partner, Paysafe; and encourages users to convert EUR balances to USDT before the end of October.

• CZ denies reports that he owns newly launched CommEX cryptocurrency exchange who recently purchased Binance Russia operations. CZ also clarifies that ex-Binance team members have joined the CommEX team.

• Coinbase International Exchange to offer perpetual futures for non-US customers after it secures regulatory approval from the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA).

• Google and Mozilla release Chrome and FireFox updates to patch high-severity zero-day vulnerability.

• ZachXBT issues community alert regarding X user pretending to be a successful trader by posting fake PNL screenshots. The scammer will offer copy trading and ghost the buyer after payment.

• Revoke cash warns users of new scammer tactic which involves masking a network's name and asking users to send valuable tokens that are illustrated as worthless. Users should be wary when adding new network to their wallet and verify the chain ID.
